“Their banter is funny, sexy, intimate and heart-wrenching…”
William Randall Beard, Star Tribune

Quinton Skinner, City Pages
“We cringe at his honesty, and yet we lap it up.”
Shannon Prather, Pioneer Press
I love comedy and I love drama but, mostly, I love the challenge of blending them together until it resembles something like life. For me, an ideal night at the theater is one where I can laugh and cry. That's the kind of theater I like and that’s the kind of theater I write.
My full-length plays include Vigorish, Why Actors Can’t Love, The Irish Goodbye, The Norse, No Direction Home, 7out and Southland.
My produced short plays include Brave People, Garbage Night, Results, A Tiny Bit of Good News, The Closing Argument, L.A.S., Megan and Trivial Pursuit.
